My Educational Journey
-
Coláiste An Spraoid Naoimh
I began my studies at Coláiste an Spioraid Naoimh in 2014 and graduated in 2020. The six years I spent at CSN played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. I built lasting friendships that I still cherish and gained clarity on my future path as I had a keen interest in Business Studies and Economies. I also took part in the mini company module in forth year which gave me my first exposure into entrepreneurship. This ultimately leading me to continue my studies at UCC.

University College Cork
I began my studies at University College Cork in 2020, a time when all classes were held online due to the pandemic. It was a tough start, especially with limited opportunities to meet new people. However, through a few Zoom calls and a couple of virtual pints I was lucky enough to connect with a tight knit group of friends who remain some of my closest to this day. I studied Commerce, covering a wide range of modules including Economics, Management Accounting, and Entrepreneurship, among others. In my final year, I chose to major in Business Development and Consultancy. As part of my capstone module, I worked with a team of four to develop a five year strategic plan for the company L'Oreal. We were awarded first class honours for the project, which I still look back on as both a major challenge and a valuable learning experience.

North Carolina State University
In my third year of Commerce, I had the incredible opportunity to study abroad for a semester at North Carolina State University. It was an unforgettable experience. I studied at the Poole College of Management, majoring in Business Administration, with core modules including Macroeconomics and Human Resource Management. While at NC State, I also had the chance to take golf lessons as part of a Pass/Fail module, which allowed me to play on some fantastic courses across the state. I fully embraced the local culture, attending American football and basketball games, and took the opportunity to travel to places like Chicago, Washington DC, Florida, Puerto Rico, and South Carolina. It was a truly memorable semester that gave me the chance to build meaningful connections with people from all over the world, many of whom I’m still in touch with today.

UCD - Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School
I’m currently studying for my Master’s in Management Consulting at UCD’s Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School. It’s been an incredible experience so far. Early on, I had the chance to work with a start-up company called Jennercode, and more recently, I’ve been involved in a project with Grant Thornton focused on the implementation of electronic health records in Ireland. One of the highlights has been the people—I’ve made great friends, and the diversity within the class has given me the opportunity to collaborate with individuals from across the globe. Working in such international teams has really broadened my perspective and helped me understand different ways of thinking and working across cultures.
